The idea of making drastic changes to your diet and lifestyle can be intimidating. But, as I approached the big 4-0, I knew something had to change. I’d tried everything ‘conventional wisdom’ had to offer: Low fat, whole grains, lots of cardio exercise… I was hungry and still gaining weight – and to top it off, I had heartburn I just couldn’t shake. Eventually I got to the point where I said, “Enough. The things that are traditionally recommended clearly aren’t working!” So, I made some pretty drastic changes back in 2011 and haven’t looked back. Down 55 pounds and no more heartburn with improvements to cholesterol and blood pressure to boot!

Like most people who have found something that works well for them, I wanted to share it with… well, pretty much everyone. What I found was that not everyone was willing to make drastic changes all at once. Enter: Embrace the Fork. This process is designed to ease you into these changes that can so dramatically improve your health. Each week, you’ll incorporate one healthier element and eliminate a less healthy element. By the end of the program, you’ll know exactly which foods and behaviors make you feel great and which ones… not so much.
